Joleen Ballendine has dedicated her life to the arts. She is an actor, improvisor, writer and instructor. In 2007 she was invited to join the cast of Rapid Fire Theatre and from there she has never looked back. She acts as a senior performer and has had the opportunity to traveled all over Canada, the U.S and tours annually to Europe teaching and performing. Joleen currently acts as the Associate Director of Education with Rapid Fire Theatre. Some of her more notable troupes include Rå Power with Amy Shostak, DotDotDot with Jessie McPhee, and fringe hit Off Book the Improvised Musical. She is also very proud to be the creator and head instructor for Rapid Fire’s Out-Reach Project, working in such schools and organizations as Boyle Street Education Centre, iHuman, and Boys and Girls Club. Her love of comedy has led her to write many plays, produce and host an alternative comedy show called Dr. Jokes, perform in thousands of improv shows and write and perform in television.
