Mark Meer is internationally known for his starring role as Commander Shepard in Bioware’s Mass Effect Trilogy, in which he also appears as Blasto, Niftu Cal, the Vorcha, the Hanar, and many more. In the realm of animation, Mark plays the mythical trickster Raven in the animated series Legendary Myths: Raven Adventures, and voices the Canadian government agent known as Horse in Captain Canuck from Chapterhouse Studios.

A longtime member of the world-renowned improv troupes Rapid Fire Theatre and Die-Nasty: The Improvised Soap Opera, Mark has performed improvised theatre at venues and festivals across the globe and is a five-time nominee for the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Improviser in the nation. His film credits include Fubar II, Some Dis-Assembly Required (with The Nerdist’s Chris Hardwick), and playing Jewel Staite’s hapless fiancé in the award-winning 40 Below and Falling.

Mark is a founding cast member of CBC Radio’s hit sketch comedy program The Irrelevant Show, and is a co-creator, writer, and star of Mosaic Entertainment’s surreal sitcom Tiny Plastic Men. He was nominated for a 2015 Canadian Screen Award and won the 2016 AFTA for Best Performance by an Actor for his work on Tiny Plastic Men. Mark joined the cast of APTN’s CAUTION: May Contain Nuts in Season 2, and has been a cast member and writer/writing consultant on all subsequent seasons.
