Sheldon is a MÃ©tis actor, writer, stand-up comic, musician and director originally from Northern Alberta. As a stand-up comic, he has emceed and been host at both Breakerâ€™s, and Daveâ€™s Comedy Saloon, and has toured western Canada twice as the opening comedy act for Hypnotist, Marc Savard.Â Sheldon was also a Top 14 finalist on Canadian Idol in 2006, and his friends have never let him live it down. He uses his Top 14 voice not only on CAUTION: May Contain Nuts, but also as a core-member of the ukulele rock band sensation, The Be Arthurs.

Sheldonâ€™s one-man show, MÃ©tis Mutt, began as a short 8 minute piece at NextFest 2001 and went on to be a main stage attraction the following year at the 2002 NextFest Festival. That summer, MÃ©tis Mutt became a huge Edmonton Fringe hit, scoring Sheldon two Sterling Awards for Best Actor in a Fringe Show and Best New Fringe Work (Award to Playwright). It toured to Whitehorse as part of the Nakai Theatre Comedy Festival in 2003. It was a part of the first Magnetic North Festival in Ottawa, 2003, and toured to Auckland, New Zealand for six shows in the AK03 Festival with The Edge Theatre.
